We LOVE Freezer meals in our family. These can work both in the Instant Pot and the Slow cooker! If you are a beginner or you have been cooking for awhile, these Freezer meals are PERFECT literally for everyone!

Now if you don’t want to make them into freezer meals, you can just dump them in your Instant Pot or your slow cooker!

BLACK BEAN TACO SOUP: (Dump Everything In and Cook)

CREAM CHEESE PASTA:

ENCHILADA CASSEROLE:

POT ROAST:
2 – 2.5 lb chuck roast
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 bell pepper (any color), chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 large potatoes, chopped into chunks
2 cloves of garlic, minced or pressed
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 cup water

Cook for 60-90 minutes. (90 if frozen) in your Instant Pot
8-10 hours on Low in the slow cooker

SPICEY PINEAPPLE CHICKEN:
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed, about 1.5 – 2 lbs total
1 can pineapple chunks, 15 oz, drained with juice set aside
1/2 cup of pineapple juice
1/2 red pepper, cut into chunks
1 tsp red pepper flakes (or less if you don’t like the “spicy”)
1 tsp salt
2 cloves of garlic, minced or pressed (or 2 tsp minced jarred garlic)
2 Tbsp chili sauce, either sweet chili or sirracha (depending on how hot you want it 🙂

Instant Pot: 25 if frozen
Slow Cooker: 6-8 hours on low

ROOT BEER PULLED PORK:
5 to 6 pounds boneless pork sholder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 (12-ounce) bottle or can root beer
1 (16-ounce) jar barbecue sauce

Instant Pot: Cook 60-90 minutes (90 if frozen)
Slow cooker: 8-10 hours on low

  1. For enchilada casserole, I did some research on their recipe linked:

    “Use uncooked rice”. When time to cook in instapot, “Thaw it in the microwave for about 2 minutes. Then place in your instant pot. Keep the cook time at 4 minutes since there is no meat in this recipe.”

    I haven’t made it this way yet but plan to! Thanks for these ideas!

  2. I have noticed when you make your freezer meals, sometimes you say how long to cook the meal in your instapot and sometimes you do not say.

  3. I love the instant pot so much! I have made quinoa, chicken, chili, asparagus MyBest.Kitchen and yogurt in it so far. The only thing that didn't work great was the asparagus. I cooked it for 1 minute and it was still overdone. It is a timesaver and uses much less energy than my gas stove.

  4. Id really love to see some recipes without bbq sauce, sugar and jam/preserves. Its not really our palate here in Australia I don't think. (well, my circle of friends arent into the sweet and savoury). You've got 3 or 4 recipes of a variation on the bbq sauce with preserves/coke etc.

  5. I've spent my entire lockdown watching this channel. Maybe this will be a turning point in my luck. Love the aesthetics of the channel and thanks for the giveaway.

  6. The pulled pork recipe is it only for the Instant pot or can it be cooked in the slow cooker. It ended at 9:18 on the counter and you didn't say how long to cook it? I have a slow cooker so I would like to know if it can be cooked in it too.
    I can see on the bag 70 minutes in instant pot, but there wasn't any mention on video of how long or if only in instant pot.
