This recipe of Bobó de camarão is part of the typical recipes of Brazilians and everyone is proud of it, because it is delicious and brings out a peculiar tradition.
It is also a very appreciated recipe in all Brazilian states, especially the northern and northeastern regions of the country.
Recipe Ingredients of Shrimp Bobo with Brazilian Chestnut
1 kg of clean medium prawns
1 lemon juice
Pepper to taste
2 tablespoons of palm oil
1 chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, whole and shelled
½ cup (tea) red bell pepper, minced in small cubes
½ cup chopped green pepper in small cubes
1 tomato chopped without seeds
800 g of cooked and kneaded cassava
2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander
½ cup (tea) chopped parsley
1 bay leaf
1 cup coconut milk salt to taste
¾ cup chopped white nut
¾ cup chopped cashew nuts
Way of doing
Put the prawns in a bowl and season with lemon juice and black pepper. Reservation.
In a large saucepan heat the oil and fry an onion, garlic, peppers and tomatoes.
Fry for five minutes or until wilted. Beat the manioc with pepper and a little water (enough to beat) in the blender.
In the same pan that prepared the language, fry the shrimp drained, return another half of the contract to a page and add the whipping cream. Add coriander, parsley, bay leaf, coconut milk and salt.
Stir well and cook over low heat to taste. Sprinkle with nuts.
