The original recipe was with ham and mozzarella, but I used pepperoni and curd cheese, so I don’t even know if it’s still a pizza bread, but I can guarantee that it’s a really good stuffed bread! And you can make whatever filling you want, get creative, mate!
I sent the filling to the processor, I put everything there:
– 1 slice of pepperoni
– 2 units of coalho cheese (those on a stick)
– 1 seedless tomato
– 1/2 onion
– 1 small piece of green pepper (just for taste).
I seasoned it with a little black pepper and oregano, and it looked like this:
I made that famous recipe for “baked savory dough” (see –> here). I divided it into two parts, opened each one, stuffed it and rolled it up.
I brushed an egg yolk that I mixed with a little water and put it in the oven until it was golden like this:
It yielded two medium loaves and very fragrant!!!
