Chickpea salad recipe

Ingredients

  • 200 g of chickpeas
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • green scent to taste
  • 1 lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Preparation mode

  1. Firstly, you need to soak the chickpeas overnight. Therefore, in a bowl add the chickpeas and cover with water, and let it rest overnight.
  2. So, the next day, to prepare the salad you need to cook the chickpeas. Drain the water and place the chickpeas in the pressure cooker, add a pinch of salt, a clove of garlic and enough water to cover.
  3. Therefore, close the pan and let it cook under pressure for 10 minutes.
  4. After this time, remove and drain the chickpeas and set aside.
  5. Now, it's time to prepare the other salad ingredients. Peel and chop the red onion, tomato, garlic cloves and chop the green chilli.
  6. In a container prepare the salad dressing, with olive oil, lemon juice, chopped garlic, mustard and onion.
  7. Transfer the chickpeas to a mixing bowl, add the sauce, chopped tomato and salt and mix very well.
  8. Place in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  9. After that, mix the green chilli and the chickpea salad is ready to serve.
