1. Bromhexine children’s syrup 4 mg/5mL
Bromhexine children’s syrup 4 mg/5mL, or 0.8 mg/mL, must be taken orally, using the measuring cup provided in the packaging to measure the right volume of the medicine.
Doses of bromhexine syrup for children depend on age and include:
- Children aged 2 to 6 years: the recommended dose is 2.5 mL, which corresponds to 2 mg of bromhexine, 3 times a day, as instructed by the pediatrician;
- Children aged 6 to 12: the recommended dose is 5 mL, which corresponds to 4 mg of bromhexine, 3 times a day, as instructed by the pediatrician;
- Adults and teenagers over 12 years old: the recommended dose is 10 mL, which corresponds to 8 mg of bromhexine, 3 times a day, as per medical advice.
The maximum recommended daily dose of bromhexine children’s syrup for children aged 6 to 12 years is 12 mg per day and for children aged 2 to 6 years it is 8 mg per day.

2. Bromhexine adult syrup 8 mg/5mL

The dose of this syrup normally recommended for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age is 5 mL, 3 times a day, or as prescribed by a doctor.
The maximum daily dose should not exceed 24 mg of syrup per day.
3. Bromexina gotas 2 mg/mL
Bromhexine drops can be used orally or inhalation, by adults or children over 2 years of age, with each 15 drops corresponding to 1 mL of the solution, and the measuring cup must be used to correctly measure the dose.
